Whether arriving from San Jose International Airport (approx. 4 hours) or Juan Santamaria International in Liberia (Approx. 2 hours). Simply head for the town of Canas on the Interamerican highway, In Canas head east until you reach the town of Tilaran, there you will make a hard left before ( it kind of appears as if your doubling back) the first stop sign. Continue on to the pristine little town of Nuevo Arenal. Once in N. Arenal head down the main street past the German bakery, at the crossroads bear right, continue on to the third left hand turn Mavericks is on the right.
